The first-day-performance of stage play "Nito Monogatari" was held on 3 April at Tokyu Theatre Orb and the lead cast members Kusanagi Tsuyoshi, Horikita Maki and Ozawa Yukiyoshi attended an interview before the performance. The play is based on the novel by Charles Dickens which was adapted to be set in ancient Japan where Kusanagi plays a man who has a mysterious past and gets involved in a love triangle with Horikita's character and Ozawa who plays the son of a nobleman. When asked how he would react if he gets caught in a love triangle with any of his SMAP members, Kusanagi said that he would probably lose if his rival is Kimura and he thought that he might as well give up since he doesn't have the confidence to beat any of his fellow members. When Horikita was asked to choose between Kusanagi and Ozawa if she was really in a love triangle with them, she could not give an answer at all.
The play will be performed until 30th April.
